I've used stackoverflow for years. It's a great resource for a software developer working alone. On many occasions over the years, I've thought about answering some questions but never had the guts. That little gremlin in my head was chattering on with 'What ifs'. I hope you find my answers sensible, useful and practical.

I'm a pragmatist and a generalist. I usually look for simple and practical solutions to problems. I care about elegance and purity too but sometimes it's a luxury.

I really enjoy the process of developing ideas and building them into digital reality whether they be applications for mobile, web or otherwise.

I also enjoy doing repairs, renovations and additions to existing software. It's a good feeling to me to find and fix a difficult bug. And implementing new features is fun too.
