I am an experienced PHP developer and systems architect who undertakes complex assignments to develop and deploy web-based SaaS solutions. My most-recent assignments involved the design, coding, and implementation of a custom, scalable, high-speed, cloud-based, framework wrapped around mySQL and mongoDB clusters utilizing AMQP as the transport vector. The framework boasted several microservices offerings including audit, journaling, security and session management, and timer-based processing.
I authored complimentary unit tests for all aspects of the framework before code was submitted to QA, wrote extensive in-code documentation (PHPDocumentor), and complete system documentation using Jira. I also stress tested the framework by writing an Apache Bench modules in order to measure throughput and identify areas for improvement.
I am experienced in devOps having designed the clusters on both AWS and in corporate private clouds (my framework ultimately extended across three discrete cloud services), and used open-source software to ensure self-healing and high-availablity for what eventually became a HIPAA compliant (TLS all the protocols) user service for the companies web and mobile applications.
