Retired engineer, was involved in fabrication, installation, test, and documentation of GSE for satellite communications and R&D in flight power supplies and power converters as well as GSE for satellites. During this tenure, I also did a lot of coding and debugging, mostly in my spare time. Some of this was job related: I created and maintained a program for my boss to maintain an expense ledger for the R&D department, and years after I left it was still being used; I developed another program to automate what's called a Gain Stability Test for high power amplifiers over a long period of time using C++ and HP-IB language. I like both engineering and software development, and someday I possibly may be of use in a place of employment. I have used Pascal, C/C++, Assembler, HTML/CSS, some JavaScript and now C# with database, ASP.NET and a touch of Entity Framework. Also served as system administrator (another hat), dabbled in Unix, RedHat, but mostly Windows.
