Like you, I try to coax computers to do what I want, with mixed success.
I'm an old time rubyist that has a penchant for dealing with the stuff no one ever wants: the plumbing needed to make stuff work. Right now I'm part of a team trying to rethink (& remake) a 20 y.o. system @ VAGAS.com and a core member of the Hanami project.
