Salt-n-Pepper-haired developer itching to use my 20+ years experience on Linux and all things similar! I've "done" the daily grind, and I've "done" the Dot Net stuff. (C# is pretty nice, though.)

I spend my days primarily in the Amazon Cloud -- using EC2, ECS, RDS, API Gateway and Lambda mostly. Automation of software development processes is my current passion, though a lot of "techie" things keep my mind active.

I love the Linux/Unix side of the house. I've been a lead developer, project manager, department director, consultant -- everything. I've worked on teams large and small, and I've coded solo. It's all good! I've used a myriad of languages, but my preference is for any of the following: Python, C/C++, JavaScript, PHP. I am moderately familiar with Java and Android (a few apps, but no big project work). SQL is old hat -- both MS SQL and MySQL. I've even touched Oracle a few times.
