I'm an assistant professor of data analytics at Denison University. I earned a PhD in English from the University of Iowa in 2012. I completed a master’s degree in American studies at Utah State University in 2006 and a bachelor’s degree at St. Lawrence University in 2002. From 2012 to 2013, I was a Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln’s Center for Digital Research in the Humanities. From 2013 to 2015, I was Associate Program Coordinator for the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Initiative “Crossing Boundaries: Re-Envisioning the Humanities for the 21st Century” at St. Lawrence University. From 2015 to 2020, I was a Clinical Assistant Professor of English and Director of the Digital Media Lab at the University of Pittsburgh.
