I'm a firm believer is the right tool for the job. Hence we have PHP customer facing eCommerce sites with SQL Server 2008 databases and C#.NET desktop applications.

I believe ASP.NET is the work of the devil and is just an attempt to make web development simple for winform desktop developers. It didn't work.
