I am a software developer and Linux admin since more than 20 years.

I started my work life as a C++ developer on Linux and Windows, later used Qt for platform independent development and changed to Java when it became necessaray.

I used a lot of technologies and am flexible to use new or different technology when it is needed.

I worked for different companies in different fields.

I have am father of three children and live with them and with my wife in the south west of Germany in timezone UTC+1/UTC+2 (in summer).

I worked in offices in the beginning of my work life. The last years I worked 80-99% from my office at home.
