My current job description is Lead Server Hardware Engineer. My skills include programming and scripting in several languages (PowerShell, C++, C#, VB, VBScript, Python, Java, JS, etc.), automation (obviously), Ansible, some Jenkins, Github, Windows and Linux, MS Active Directory, troubleshooting, OS imaging, patching, installer authoring and repackaging for deployment.

Current tasks: rack and blade servers, their firmware, blade chassis I/O modules, configuration, documentation, testing, and evaluation. Apparently lots of paperwork...

Familiar with VMWare, AWS, Azure, and other hypervisors and cloud providers.

Also relational and non relational databases: Cassandra, MS SQL, MondgoDB, Oracle, etc. Again, not enough to be a DBA.

I have a BS in Software Engineering and I'm MCTS on MS 70-640, ITIL v3 Foundations Certified.

Currently playing with Python and Ansible.
