I grew up in Pueblo, Colorado and moved to Tucson, Arizona during high school where I enlisted in the Marine Corps, and joined 1st Recon Battalion. After 2 deployments, I was Honorably discharged and started pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. During school, a fellow Recon Marine reached out to me and eventually offered me a job at a start-up software development company in Oklahoma City. After working in data entry, Support, Sales, Account Management, and Project Management, and honing my software development knowledge, I was offered a position as a junior full stack engineer.

After several more years serving in the Reconnaissance community in a reserve capacity, I left the service after becoming a Dive Supervisor and Scout Sniper, and completing another deployment as a team leader.

Currently, I'm pursuing a degree in Computer Science and working as a Full Stack Engineer.
