For nearly 30 years I've been involved in the Information Technologies sector during which I have worked in many business areas but mostly in retail, distribution, manufacturing and telecommunications. The wide range of mandates I've been involved that have allowed me to acquire in depth knowledge and expertise within the following realms of competences: development team management, production and operation support, software architecture (particularly with large data warehouses), business decision support and business intelligence systems.

For the last 15 years I've dedicated myself to data modeling and database optimization. Coming from the Oracle world initially I've done extensive work in the last few years with Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.

Since 1992 I've been self-employed and have been contracted by many large organizations to help them in the developments efforts and optimization efforts.
