I do my best to be a generalist geek - but if I had to pick one language, it would be Python.

My preferences run mostly to back-end web services. I prefer to work on established projects over green-field development, and feel most comfortable in the part of the application lifecycle that happens after an MVP is developed and launched, but before the project transitions to maintenance. Refactoring existing features to allow for anticipated growth and reduce long-term maintenance burden is what I most enjoy.
