Research Engineer (formal methods, more precisely model-checking) from France.
I enjoy my work a lot. I get to teach, learn and research without the usual paper work nor the politic that often come with those activities.
I play computer games a lot, too. In the past few years it has been more about studying the design rather than "beating" the game though. I have many ideas I'd like to try out, but I always get lost early by overdoing everything. I'm trying to change that!
If I had to pick one single quote it'd be that one:
"Time you enjoy wasting isn't wasted time." - Bertrand Russel
I had the habit to lose myself in gaming as a mean to run away from ... things. And when that happens I don't enjoy myself playing. I don't do it quite as much now that I pinned this quote on the wall behind my screen.
