Security+ and AWS Certified Lead Engineer with 20+ years experience, DOD clearance, and microservices in Kubernetes developer.

I'm currently leading the effort to migrate a serverless AWS application into a classified Kubernetes environment and building a microservices platform for a company in the defense industry.

Current tech stack includes Node.js, Python, and Golang microservices deployed in an RKE k8s cluster using Helm charts. I also manage the deployment of logging and monitoring solutions to k8s, using an EFK stack and Prometheus.

I was recently the head of Software Engineering at Slingshot Aerospace, leading a growing team of software engineers to build applications for Space Situational Awareness (SSA) and Geospatial apps for Government and Commercial customers.

Designed, developed, and deployed Slingshot's Orbital Atlas analytics platform which was selected by the Air Force for trial in CSpOC and is the largest contract ever awarded to Slingshot Aerospace.

I previously worked with a DARPA-sponsored data science team, where we built data processing pipelines in Node.js, wrote PySpark scripts for distributed computing, deployed Docker containers to AWS, built ML models in Scikit-learn and Keras, and used Go for parallelizing tasks. I have a Master's in MIS, and lots and lots of experience in small companies and start-ups.
