About

Always looking for new challenges, opportunities for growth and improvement, my interests range from device physics, its software, up to the development of user interfaces, apps and video games.

This passion brought me to knowing several programming languages. First and foremost Python and LabVIEW, which I've worked with for some years, but also Java and C# that I studied in my free time (app and game development), as well as other languages I encountered during my career or just out of curiosity.

My competencies stretch from writing instrument drivers (e.g.: Keithley B1500), to test station validation, from designing multiprocess data exchange networks (ZeroMQ), to instrument usage data collection (e.g.: through FTP), from developing user interfaces (PyQt5, TkInter), to data analysis (JMP, Excel, Matlab, Origin), from device characterization (CMOS, BEOL), to test program implementation (e.g.: Agilent 4070).

I am passionate and flexible about my work, keeping an eye on efficiently and quickly get to results, and the other on code standardization and documentation. When facing a problem I won't stop to what I know, but dig deeper looking for the most efficient solution and, if I can't find it, I design a new one. I am collaboration and team oriented, making the best out of agile methodologies as JIRA, Confluence and BitBucket/Git.

In my spare time, between TV series, films, books and video games, I focus on enhancing my stock of knowledge as much as I can. For example, by studying languages, torturing (without success) musical instruments, or taking online courses. I'm a bit rusty on the sport department, but I try to get in shape by following a Parkour course. I am also Game master of a couple of really disoriented Pathfinder groups.
