Loren specializes in the definition of architectures, technical assessments, systems integration, and development of large-scale systems. With over 30 years of experience, Loren has successfully delivered systems encompassing many architectures, computer languages, operating systems and software development methodologies.

Loren has architected and developed systems in the XML space (databases, XML Schema, XForms, XQuery, & XPath) since 2009. He is a Certified MarkLogic Developer. He is an authorized contributor on the eXist Open Source Database Project. He has been a participant in W3C XML Core and XML Query Working Groups.

Previously he was an International Consulting Solution Architect with PTC, a provider of Product Life Cycle Management software.

Loren received his Master Degree from the University of Minnesota's Master of Science in Software Engineering program in 2011.

He also developed tools for navigating the gap between relational and NoSQL through metadata extraction, abstraction and transformation.
