I am an engineering student doing optimization research at the University of Calgary. I have prior experience developing in PHP, and working with Drupal. While I don't have any professional training in any language, I've put in many hours on Javascript, PHP, and Java, and am relatively proficient at C, C++, Python, and a few others.
