Kiko Fernandez Reyes is a software engineer with passion for functional programming, concurrent programming languages and static analysis tools, such as type systems. He joined Klarna not long ago (Dec 2021) and has been enjoying the payments industry ever since then.

Kiko was born on Malaga (Spain) and lived all his childhood in a small town named Almuñecar (Granada, Spain). Kiko Fernandez Reyes holds a PhD from Uppsala University, where he developed new concurrent programming languages and models, typed and untyped, and where he got the opportunity to travel, learn, and enjoy research.
