I have a successful track record developing apps, maintaining them in a production environment, consuming APIs, and working with large datasets in production environments within small and large teams and under tight schedules. I have a thorough understanding of the software development production cycle and have worked on projects ranging from completely new apps to upgrades and maintenance releases.

Most of my experience has been related to designing and maintaining proprietary web applications, including both employee facing and customer facing systems. Most projects involved interfacing with SQL Server and/or other relational databases such as MySQL.

Developing software is fun and exciting for me. Somehow, I got lucky, because they pay me to have fun. Now, if I can just get them to pay me to take trips to the beach or hike in Washington Park. My favorite season of the year is fall and I am that guy that wears shorts even when it is snowing.
