I am currently a Principal Engineer at Skookum Digital Works, a consulting firm, and I am passionate about technical strategy and building great software. Most of my free time is spent reading, playing disc golf, or traveling.

I love all aspects of programming and enjoy mentoring other developers in Enterprise Architecture best practices. I enjoy working on large scale applications, managing, and building the development teams required for those projects.

I have been working on web applications for almost 10 years and I am generally language agnostic. In addition, I have a masters degree in business and am always looking for methods to apply my experience in application development to business problems or vice versa. In addition, I am very interested in promoting the open source community, especially in the .NET and Node.js ecosystems.
