I am a mobile software developer in the greatest city on Earth, New York, NY. In my spare time I also like to read and write fantasy, play table top games, run, weight lift, obsess over vintage manual coffee machines and grinders, and of course, read about, learn, and write code.
Programming called to me because it allowed me to follow my passion, to create things, in a helpful way that was up to date with the modern times. It requires hard work, and that's something I am plenty comfortable with.
At 14 I got my first job as a bagger/food-runner at a Chick-fil-A. From that point on I continued to work and save, often pulling multiple jobs at once including third shift at a Winn-Dixie at one point (watching the sunrise after a 10 hour shift was the one plus side.) Eventually I bought my first (used) car in full by myself, and proceeded to keep working and saving, as well as studying hard and applying to any scholarship I could find online.
What eventually became of my hard work and motivation was me putting myself through college without a single loan needing to be taken out, something I am extremely proud of. Now that college is done (Go Noles!), I am armed with my Bachelor's of Science and knowledge of coding and am ready to build something meaningful.
