I am a physics Ph.D. candidate at Boston College studying theoretical condensed matter physics. In particular, I am interested in how we can use tools in high energy physics to understand condensed matter physics, in particular Fermi liquids, certain non-Fermi liquids, and superconductors. I am currently working on a many-body theory of "true" Majorana fermions, which are a closer analog of the high-energy idea of Ettore Majorana than the Majorana zero mode considered today. I am also interested in computational methods, primarily path integral Monte Carlo.
