Self taught programmer. Started in 97 with some hacky website stuff (I thought Geocities was cool). In college I majored in Informatics with a focus on artificial intelligence. Went and worked with a machine learning startup, went to law school and became a lawyer for a brief period of time, learned it was not my passion, and later moved onto more of a leadership role at different company where I am the main problem solver and lead programmer. Lately I am really into TypeScript and establishing coding standards for a team of programmers. My day is full of reviewing pull requests, laying out designs for various services, and implementing new things.

At the heart of it all, my passion is to design things. I like to pay attention to detail and care about craftsmanship. I believe in moving quickly and getting things done. And so far, I have been pretty good at it.
