Lifelong programmer (started on Z80 assembly for GameBoys at 13), with a lot of breadth and a reasonable amount of depth. I'm strong in the full web stack, doing the huge range of databases (from postgres to AS/400 -- 2 years as a pro DB dev); node, PHP (Concrete5 is my new favourite CMS), and Ruby on Rails; extremely strict about proper HTML+CSS to the point of exhaustion for anyone who doesn't believe content + style should be separated; JavaScript isn't synonymous with jQuery (though I like $).

I'm constantly learning and taking on projects that seem above my head at first, and I'm not shy about seeking out experts who know more than I do.
