Mr. Campins is a specialist in computer-based systems development. His professional experience includes more than thirty years of activity in design, development and implementation of computer-based information systems, especially of Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) Tools, Application Integration Solutions and Banking & Financial Applications.
In his professional career, Mr. Campins has excelled in the construction of software tools for the automation of the information systems development process. Over the last few years, Mr. Campins has been devoted exclusively to Project Adalid, an open-source template processing system, specifically designed to assist in the development of software applications. Using a template engine, Adalid combines an abstract data model with source templates in order to produce any kind of documents, typically source code. Unlike most code generators currently available on the market, Adalid is designed to allow users to build their own generators, giving them full control over the generation process and the documents produced. Mr. Campins built the first of such generators which produces applications that work with GLASSFISH or WILDFLY application server and POSTGRESQL database server. Currently, Mr. Campins is building another generator using Adalid, this time to produce applications that work with ORACLE database server.
