I am a data scientist working at Deliveroo with a strong analytical background gained from a DPhil at the University of Oxford and previous work as a data scientist at News UK. Much of my analytical experience has been focused on collecting, cleaning and analyzing large clickstream and biological datasets with high variability. My primary programming language is Python, but I love the Julia programming language too, for which I have contributed to a few open source packages. I also have extensive experience with Matlab as well as a good knowledge of Java. Furthermore, I have extensive experience with Git/Github using it for version control in solo and collaborative projects.

Another passion of mine is science communication. I really enjoy conveying complex topics to non-specialist audiences. It really challenges me to understand a topic to the extent that the explanation no longer feels academic.

Further to this, I'm a keen sportsman. I played American football for 9 years and captained the University of Southampton's American football team (the Stags) for 2 years. I also play football (the real kind) and a bit of badminton too.
