Computational neuroscientist working in the Bay Area. Previously in academic research modelling brain activity with large systems of delay-differential equations, and developing Bayesian methods for parameter inference. I think programming is an art that complements mathematics.
I am proficient in Matlab, very knowledgeable in C++, reasonably good in Python, and occasionally enjoy a bit of JavaScript. I consider LaTeX and bash necessary evils, and fantasize about one day leaving Matlab for Julia.
