Coming from Philadelphia to UNC-Chapel Hill in 2001 and graduating with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Jazz Studies, I went straight into a teaching job for over 8 years. I moved on to acquire the skills to become a Math Curriculum Specialist with an emphasis on online item writing, which opened the door to coding.

Using HTML, CSS, JS, LaTeX, and MathML, I was enlightened and finally thrilled with the work I was doing and the skills I was learning. I knew I was starting on the right path to a lifelong career.

So here I am, currently enrolled in an excellent boot camp out of UNC-Chapel Hill and partnered with Trilogy and developing the first stages of my portfolio while getting my feet wet using.
