I've been a a professional Web developer since 1995, although I took a brief sojourn to spend 12 years as a product & program manager / technology evangelist at a... mega technology company.

From there, became architect and eventually CTO of a social network. Then of an SEO firm. Then I headed my own agency before merging with a larger agency and becoming its chief architect.

Former specialist in Flex/Flash/Just about all things Video, current specialist in PHP/JavaScript/MySql... mostly with an architectural slant.

Author of multiple books, mostly about video.

Technology is just one aspect of me... Although a business school dropout, I definitely consider myself every bit as good at marketing. My design skills have atrophied a bit, but i'm still a high end designer (and, on the side, natural-media painter).
