I am an engineer at heart who enjoys software development for its problem solving nature. My constant improvement nature has never allowed me to be fully satisfied with the way the software industry works. Over my career, I have been up and down the management chain, continually looking for that magic place where I can focus on improving the development cycle. I currently work for a small company, which affords be the ability to exercise my software skills and have a significant influence in how the development team operates. My interests have grown outside of the commercial software space, which is typically less interested in the costs of developing open-source and highly reusable libraries.
