Aspiring web developer and full-time smart a$$

Having grown up in the Silicon Valley - California, you'd think that coding would be old hat for me. It only took an additional 20 years for me to see the light and get into what should have been a lifelong journey.

I dabbled with scripting in MiRC, but that's as far as it got.

Until now...

After completing culinary school in Portland, and coming up with a few dead-end jobs in mediocre kitchens, I decided to go the route that many of the friends from my youth.

Entre HTML.

Then CSS, followed by JavaScript and finally Ruby and Rails development.

Still basically a noob, I'm polishing my skills with stars in my eyes, looking for that great opportunity to make it big.
