I'm currently a Junior QA Engineer at Listrak.

I was a hobbyist programmer for several years before deciding I wanted to do it professionally. In that time, I coded in Java, C++, Python, and HTML/CSS/Javascript. At Viking Code School I focused mainly on Ruby/Ruby on Rails and JavaScript/Angular. At Listrak I work mainly with C# and .NET Standard and .NET Core. I've found that which language is not as important as willingness to learn in whatever language you are using!

For fun, I like spending time with my wife and kids, playing music (guitar, bass, mandolin), eating good pizza, hiking, and playing "sandbox" games like Minecraft and Kerbal Space Program. We have a black lab mix named Obsidian (we call him Obi). I'm interested in science, technology, Linux, and all things open source.
