I have successfully completed, arguably the most challenging software development project to date creating, implementing and deploying a software solution to monitor the status and operation of vacuum pumps used in the manufacture of silicon chips, for, Edwards High Vacuum who use a web-based tool "Edcentra" to show the status of vacuum pumps and abatement units used in the manufacture of silicon chips.

A brief summary of the technologies i have used, skills and experience I have gained

.NET development professional with 8 years’ experience in analysis, design and development of n-tier web based and client server applications.

Specialising in ASP.NET web application development including ASP.NET MVC5, ASP.NET Web API REST and ASP.NET Web Forms (although the later seems a long time ago now).

Also extensive server side development with Windows Services and TopShelf.

Programming skills include C#, LINQ to Entities, LINQ to SQL and LINQ to Objects, Object Relational Mapping with ADO.Net Entity Framework. RDBMS development with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, database design, creation and maintenance including views and stored procedures. Front end development with HTML5, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS, Razor Views and HTML Helper methods, bespoke HTML pages with jQuery.
