Started programming in FORTRAN IV in the late 60's. Did a lot of other stuff (C, Perl, PHP, COBOL on operating system kernels, MRP II, X server, printer drivers, database fronted websites for 100k+ users, etc). Set up a couple of $M companies in US and UK. Ran a niche digital marketing agency, and I'm doing some coding again... this time in RoR, mostly.
Forgotten more programming languages than I currently know. Prefer software R&D projects, but I've worked on or managed everything from financial to dating sites, in roles from dev, to CTO, CEO and Head of Marketing. Also an ex-academic, and former uni researcher, in low energy housing.
