I got my degree in computer science in 2002. Things move fast in IT. Although many people think it as a river of flowers, we who are working in IT industry know it well: long hours debugging, testing, etc... and many times in the end the customer may change everything.
My work activities concentrate mostly as Solution Architect, but it includes also having to get down to address hard deadlines, coding all the features the project in development promises to deliver.
Usually, who closes the deal and make the contract are the guys from the sales department - you know. Everything the customer ask: from an elephant flying to a nun body builder, everything is possible. The only hack is that we... the TI team is who end up with the demand to delivered whatever on time.
