I accidentally stumbled into Computer Science. I was a disinterested kid from bad schools who ended up at community college and had to declare a major. I was the kid who was 'good with computers', so I chose computer science and believe it or not, I liked it.
I graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit and became a Data Scientist because I don't have the patience that you software engineering folks do (bless your hearts).
I mostly do computer assisted statistical and mathematical programs at a large company, that was Fortune 500 before recently going private.
I am still a noob :)
