My name is Jeff Byrd and I am a developer whose platform of choice is Domino. Well, in the spirit of full disclosure, most days it’s becoming Domino/xPages/Java. It's hard to keep track because the lines are blurring. I've been fortunate enough to have been working with Lotus Notes since ver. 3.0. Fortunate I say because I've seen to the progression and maturation of Lotus Notes as a development platform.
When I started, a developer had to be a deft hand with formula language to accomplish anything. It’s funny to think that the ping-pong macro back then is equivalent to learning JAVA today.
Because of Lotus Notes & Domino, I've learned LotusScript, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, DXL, SQL, Oracle, Object Oriented Programming , JAVA, JSF, xPages and bits and pieces of a half dozen other technologies.
Because of Lotus Notes & Domino, I've learned that you never stop learning!
