Just a beginner programmer...I don't know much.

Let's see...I'm not very good at these bio things.

I'm 21 years old, and I attend University of Wisconsin - Green Bay. I used to be a music major. Had quite a bit of progress towards my degree, then I made a dumb mistake. Switched to computer science for a major because I was having trouble figuring out what I would do with a music degree. It's a dumb mistake because now I'll have to school for about 3 more years and put myself in more debt.

But whatever. Life goes on.

As far as programming goes, I know only what I've been taught, and even some of that is difficult. I've got a pretty good grasp on HTML and CSS, but JavaScript just kicks the crap out of me.

From my age, you're probably thinking "Oh, this kid wants to learn programming so he can make games." Yes, I would like to make some games. I won't deny that. But that's not all I want to do; I like to envision myself as someone who services computers for a living in the future, and plays music (on my Yamaha Custom EX Alto Saxophone ;]) for leisure. I also take an active interest in open source projects. Although I can't contribute to any of them as of right now, I hope to do so in the future.
