Got into programming through VBA Excel when I learned you can record your actions and then view and edit the source- I found that mind-blowing.

From there I learned full-stack web development in my free time, choosing the MERN stack.

Currently I specialize in building applications that automate business processes/tasks by leveraging API's in ERP's; but I still love to automate reports with VBA Excel.
