I served 21 years in the US Army as a Satellite Communications Equipment Repairer (MOS 25S/T). For much of that time, I worked in Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) as a satellite controller. I served two tours of combat including a year in Baghdad.
I am still married to my high school girlfriend and we have two boys, Bryan-31 (Soldier) & Kevin-28 (Marine).
I graduated summa cum laude from Troy University with a degree in Computer Science. I have been working as a Software Developer since retiring from the Army in February of 2009.
My certifications include A+, Network+, Security+, MCTS (several), and CISSP. I am a member of ISC(2), ACM, and ISSA.
My two main hobbies are running and computer programming.
