I was there when the web was first waking up into maturity... I was there when people developed chat rooms for the web browser.... I was there before that when IRC was already being used for years and still nobody knew what an FTP was.
I was there making web sites back when the best they could come up with was essentially a header image and a document. I was there - making web solutions that were widely viewed as impossible at the time.
I'm not bragging, but I'm still here - coming up with more "impossible" solutions. Thinking outside the box. It's what some of us do. Some of us enjoy it. Occasionally we really really hate it. All in the day of the life of a technologist.
