I’ve been playing with technology all my life and have been building mobile applications since Google was making tasty snacks called Donut and Eclair. I enjoy bridging the gap between technology, product and business development teams.
At the start of my career, some of my first projects were building procurement products for government agencies. Later, I joined AOL and built many of their mobile applications back when AOL was still cool. After that I relocated to Silicon Valley to work on a highly sensitive stealth project for Amazon/Lab126 that turned out to be a FireOs based smart phone. I lead the Android team that built an incredibly robust Speech Recognition system (Google Now and Siri equivalent) for the device. Currently, I lead the the Android implementation of the Driversiti suite of products that provide contextually aware sensing applications to improve driver safety.
Currently: Director of Engineering at Driversiti - We are reinventing vehicle safety, are you onboard? I am leading Driversiti’s development of its Android application using Apio Situational Awareness™ algorithms for a highly disruptive mobile platform, initially providing safety benefits to drivers and transportation.
