I am a enthusiastic full stack developer working with a range of tech including Java, Spring, Python, VueJS, nodeJS, Elasticsearch, AWS, Terraform.

Before my current role I worked on Java based data acquisition software, enabling cutting edge scientific experiments at Diamond Light Source.

Outside of work I enjoy working on small electronics and software projects, for automating things around the home. Currently I’m trying to replace the control system on my dehumidifier. I also enjoy contributing to open source projects.

I am fascinated by programming and how things work and am always trying to learn new skills. I feel my science background leaves me well placed to understand how complex problems can be solved by the software I work on.
