I am a software developer in South Africa working for a small, international forex company called Mercury FX.

I started programming from a young age. Once I finished school, I picked up a programming job and started studying my BSc in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science part-time. In my free time I love to experiment with new technologies. My particularly favourite technologies are Javascript and .NET. I have recently grown very fond of Vue.JS and am busy working on expanding my front-end web development skills.

I currently do our in-house development at Mercury FX using technologies like VB.NET, C#, Javascript, Typescript and Python. I also work with Amazon AWS a lot as we use it for our infrastructure.
