I've been working on the Scala compiler for more than 6 years, most of it during my PhD studies at Lamp. Currently I'm working on the Eclipse plugin for Scala. Before that, I worked professionally in C++.

I am interested in programming languages, functional programming, and compilation techniques. I enjoy looking into 'low-level' stuff, with occasional detours in somewhat theoretical computer science. I don't like category theory.
