I have a Ph.D. in High Performance Computing (HPC) from the Computer Science and Engineering Dept., Texas A&M University. Under the supervision of Dr. Lawrence Rauchwerger, I worked on the STAPL Runtime System (http://parasol-lab.gitlab.io/stapl-home/), a runtime system written in C++ that provides a unified interface that abstracts shared and distributed memory communication, and offers nested parallelism capabilities.
I also hold a Dipl.-Ing. in Computer Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Thessaly (https://www.e-ce.uth.gr/).
My interests include High Performance Computing, Heterogeneous Computing, Runtime Systems for HPC, Parallel and Distributed Algorithms, Consistency Models, compilers, and the intersection of Parallel Computing and Machine Learning.
