started with javascript 1.0 and HTML 4.0 in the early 90s (pre-DOM, IE/NS3.0 over AOL)... moved up from there to the usual CS Degree languages (C/C++,Lisp) to Perl and ASP Classic, then eventually got a job in manual QA for a UNIX batch transaction system (Perl, Java, ZSH, Bash, Expect, ...). After that I moved to a PHP position at a smaller company that had the same idea as me - moving all PHP apps to ASP .NET C# as soon as possible. So now I speak fairly-fluent Microsoftese and can barely tell the difference between VB and C# anymore. I dig it, tho.
