I am a scientist with experience in data acquisition, data analysis, modeling, and simulation
I have had extensive experience with LabVIEW. I designed a system to acquire data and analyze CMOS image sensors. This program was used in for testing these chips with radioactive sources, charged particle beams, and x-rays. Two other groups used this code. These efforts lead effort to numerous advances in CMOS imagers.
Recently, I developed a LabVIEW program for a biotech company needed a test devices used for eye surgery. The testing program was successful and now the device is being used for cataract surgery. Now I am using LabVIEW to enhance the control system for a neutron generator at UC Berkley.
I am very familiar with developing complex algorithms to solve physics problems. As an experimental physicist, I often solve real world problems. In physics research, one must find a special signal from millions of background events.
I am working with OpenOakland.org to develop a program that can allow Oakland citizens to better understand what the City Council is doing and providing a way that they can communicate and participate with the Council.
