About

I am a Web Application Developer based in Cardiff, Wales. I develop Web Applications using Python with the Django Framework and MySQL and Postgresql database backend which means I can develop scalable solutions with great functionality. I user HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and JavaScript (with Jquery) front end to ensure sites look great and are responsive to the user's device. Please take a look at my profile on PeoplePerHour (https://www.peopleperhour.com/freelancer/development-it/henry-mehta-web-and-application-developer-zxqqwqw), Guru (https://www.guru.com/freelancers/henry-mehta/reviews) and UpWork (https://www.upwork.com/freelancers/~01d50599aa20216224) to see additional feedback on my developments.

I am experienced developing Django applications using class based view, function views, the Django Rest Framework. I am also experienced implementing much of Django’s built in functionality such as signals, managers, mixins and context processors and background jobs through Celery. I am adept at building reusable apps, most of which I keep private but a few can be seen on my github account (HenryMehta).

When working with the Django Rest Framework, I build the front end and mobile applications with ReactJS and React-Native respectively.

Although I cannot show you all my work due to NDAs, here are examples I can share using this mix of technologies: 1.Hard-Wired.astralis.gg - a series of 3 online games for Astralis CSGO team to test player reaction speed and memory 2. webcdi.stanford.edu - an online survey tool hosted by Stanford University and used across the world to measure communicative development in children (I haven't written all of this site but have taken over ongoing support and development) 3. Houses.MarcusseConstruction.com - sites which schedules a house builders work schedule, sending emails to it’s contractors showing their schedule and giving home buyers to monitor progress online. 4. ReMi-Net.uk (this site provides artists an opportunity to share their work) 5. Demo.StatMetrix.co (football player performance site - targeted at small clubs developing players) 6. CheckInSchools.com (student welfare site) 7. SustainStart.com (an online crowdfunding site) 8. OurPeopleReview.com (online tool to assess a company’s human capital) 9. Bauordnungen.RiskDataScience.net and Regulytics.RiskDataScience.net (online tool to compare regulatory text) 10. LibreStock.com and Video.LibreStock.com (screen scrape and display CCO licensed photos and footage)

I also have a number of demo sites you can visit through HexiaWebServices.co.uk.
