As of 10/2/2019, I've suspended contributing due to baffling corporate behavior by Stack Exchange, Inc. The past couple years of odd decisions by the company have completely undone the enthusiasm I once had for stackoverflow, et al.
As of 10/10/2019 I've decided to permanently stop contributing here. I thought the purpose of the site was simply building a public storehouse of technical knowledge. The focus instead seems to be veering from the technical to the social. This change in focus has come about through StackExchange Inc.'s increasingly heavy handed control. So I'll leave it to others to donate their labor to make the StackExchange venture capital unicorn dream come true, and hope that an open source, community run replacement materializes to fill the void.
